 Item STEL3005: Vintage SWAN'S DOWN POWDER PUFF porcelain lady 1/2 doll. Wonderful vintage soft puff appears not to have been used as the puff is very clean. Lovely lady half doll has her arms bent to hold on her hat. Has pink silky fabric topped by a little floral band. Most likely German, but I cannot find a mark. Measures 3 9/16 in. high. Excellent condition. No chips or cracks to the porcelain. Some wear to the paint.

Item STEL3546: Vintage1920s Enamel on Brass Guilloche Lipstick Case. Here is a wonderful and I think possibly hard to find vintage 1920s Enamel and Brass Guilloche Lipstick case. Although unmarked, I am pretty sure it is French from the style of it. It is in great condition with no chips to the enamel or dents to the brass. There is some minor discoloration of the brass (probably can be cleaned if one wished to) , but I think the patina gives it vintage character. It measures 2 1/4 in. long x 1/2 in. wide. a great purse or vanity item for your collection.

Item SL489: Antique 19th Century French opera glasses in exceptional mother-of-pearl and gold metal, still in their original box. The glasses are in fantastic condition with no damage and no restoration. One eye piece has MOP marked "Chavagne & Co. Paris." The other is marked in a very unique manner which shows that the piece was presented to "A. N. Sumerlin" of "Grand Rapids, Mich." High quality gold dore (note the bands over the MOP & the exceptional gold finish). Exceptional mother-of-pearl with great iridescence and no damage (so often portion(s) are cracked. I had this displayed on a dressing table, but they could be a perfect accent piece in other settings, within your home. A great conversation piece. 3 1/8 x 4 1/8 in. The box is lined with a plush satin. There is corner wear on the box and one corner is split, but it is still very nice to have as an all original presentation. Item ST809: WWII Ammen’s Powder tin *unused* red/wht/blue. Patriotic red, white and blue tin....exclusively packaged for the armed forces. The tin appears to be unused with just a hint of paint chips around the edge of the top. Label is intact with a small spot of discoloration and bottom shows some scratches. Otherwise it is in great condition. Tin measures 4 3/8 in.

Item STEL241: Porcelain POWDER PUFF 1/2 DOLL With Powder Puff Skirt. This is a beautiful and I believe to be RARE, according to Lynell Schwartz in her book Vintage Compacts & Beauty Accessories, POWDER PUFF HALF DOLL. She is intact with original skirt with spaces at the bottom to hold the puffs. She has a white bodice which is glazed onto her porcelain body. A blue tiara adorns her black hair. Her makeup is beautiful with virtually no wear. Only a minor bit of missing enamel on the back of her hair. Otherwise she is in fabulous condition. She measures 7 in. tall. A nice, rare addition for your collection. So don't let this one get by....they don't come around in this condition too often.

ED206: Rare Vintage Avon Sample Powder Palette: This is a wonderful rare vintage powder sampler by Avon. It is called "Heavenlight" and has nine powder tins on the cardboard artist's palette. The graphics are beautiful. It is 10" x 7 1/2" and the tins are 1 3/4" x 1/4". The tins are all in good to very good condition. There is a small brown stain in the upper right corner. Item STEL3485: In my quest to design wearable art, here is my newest © design. It is in the shape of a Bakelite perfume bottle (although it is not real). It can be used as an object of display, or if you want to wear it, I can attach a pin back or a charm loop at the top to wear it as a pendant. I utilized all vintage Bakelite parts and a vintage Celluloid charm creating the made up name of the perfume by virtue of the charm that is attached. All detail is hand painted. Item STEL2268: Vintage KISSPROOF ROUGE COMPACT Orig. Card. Here is a great little rouge-never used, with the original puff, cover paper, and intact rouge on the original card. The red and gold case is in mint condition. The diameter of the rouge is: 1 1/4 *" round. The rouge comes in a hinged compact. Product information is on the backside. Color of rouge is "Theatrical" as per card. The card measures 4 in. x 3 1/4 in. and is in excellent condition except for the lower right corner which was partially off and taped back on. If you collect vanity items, this is a fun item since it is intact! Fantastic vintage graphics.

Item STEL1553: Deco PARK TILFORD ROUGE Bakelite Compact MOC. Here is a great little rouge-never used, with the original puff, cover paper, and intact rouge on the original card. The blue plastic case is in mint condition. I am not positive, but I think the case is early Bakelite. The circumference of the rouge is: 1 *" round by 3/8" tall. The top of the rouge screws off. Product information is on the backside. Color of rouge is light as per card. The card measures 2 3/4 in. x 3 1/2 in. and is in excellent condition. Item STEL3413: Great Bakelite 3 color powder dispenser (yellow, butterscotch & tortoise shell). Unscrew the tortoise shell color bottom and fill the tube with powder. Item ST2787: Here is a fantastic figural Bakelite flapper lady sewing kit. She is in totally MINT condition. Face paint is all intact and gorgeous.Thimble is the hat and unscrews for use and the lady also unscrews in the center to reveal a sectioned celluloid spool holder to hold needles and thread. The top of the spool holder also opens to store the needles. She consists of a jadite green case with a flesh head, black hair and a salmon colored thimble hat. Measures 4 1/4 in. tall. SL291: L.T. Piver 1901 perfume advertising fan for the fragrance “Azurea.” The fan is in wonderful condition--the best I’ve personally seen in advertising fans from this era. The fan depicts a reclining lady among flowers, on an overlook, in a seaside setting, with sailboats. With her is her little terrier. The fan is marked “Souvenir HOTEL PONCHARTRAIN Detroit Mich.“ It is also artist signed. The Hotel Ponchartrain was one of the most elegant restaurants in Detroit at the turn of the century, specializing in fine European cuisine, especially French, and boasting a huge wine cellar. SL265: Fabulous extremely rare Vantines French incense burner. This is a treasure. A French street musician plays his mandolin leaning on a tall French gas street lamp. The figure is very detailed. He wears an open shirt, a head kerchief tied in the back, tight pants and slippers. He strums his mandolin and appears to be entranced (has a dreamy expression) and is obviously singing. The base of the lamp is very detailed, as is the lamp itself. The red glow represents the gas light. The cover lifts off to reveal an elevated area on which incense is placed. The top has openings for the aroma to disperse. The base is clearly marked, "Vantines 1313 Made in France." The piece is of white metal which has been bronzed. The finish is excellent, with only a few extremely tiny slivers of wear on the rim of the base which rests on a surface. It appears that the colors of the bronzed finish are very different in the photo--NOT SO. It is from a reflection of the camera flash or some other camera related issue. SL267: Helena Rubinstein "Lipstick Fourcast." Unusual miniature presentation of four lipsticks. Each is encased in a different color enameled tube. The four tubes are encased inside a polished gold brass case, with four openings which display the four colors. The shades of the red lipsticks (never or perhaps used lightly once or twice) are: "Red Raspberry, Command Performance (also the name of a perfume by Rubinstein), Rose Mauve and Apple Red." In excellent condition except for minor scratches on the blue case. This presentation was auctioned in the Arts and Fragrances Auction in 2000, lot #63. It sold at a rather astronomical price. RG4903: Limited Edition "Betty Boop" Trinket box. This little box is just plain adorable & would fit in with most collections . It stands just under 4 inches tall & shows Betty batting her long lashes while she sprays herself from her tiny perfume bottle. SL193: Lucien Lelong "Quick Change" figural coat pin lipstick holder. I love this novelty piece. Yes, for those of you who have never had to ride a streetcar, the piece may be unfamiliar--it is modeled after a money holder for silver coins. The conductor could quickly collect the fare and provide change to passengers. This is quite the rare little item, especilally with its label on the back which names the creation "Quick Change", Lucien Lelong, Inc. The lipstick colors--Robind Hood, Indiscrete, Nicole Pink." Mirror: This is a wonderful vintage Ladies Fan with a mirror on
one side to use to see if anyone is looking at the lady. The other side of

be used. I just returned from a trip to Ellis Island New York and saw one

Item ED1: Bakelite Cosmetic Set Perfume, Make-up,
Plus. This is a wonderful Bakelite cosmetic set with six
pieces. They are red with silver decorations. There is a perfume, an empty
container, a cigarette holder, a bracelet , pencil and a powder with the
pad. The hinge on the powder works well but looks like it was repaired and
is as I found it. The repair is hard to notice. All the other pieces
are in excellent condition. The box is leather covered with satin and
velvet lined. There is a tag inside that says "From Hall & Edwards".
