| Item GD51: The bottle is opaque black glass with geometric form and signed Austria. Somewhere along the line the bottle was married to this magnificent Czech Hoffman Stopper. The color of the stopper is a muted orange and is carved in opposition back and front. There are 2 nudes frolicing among the flowers. The stopper is truly a work of art. I have a picture of the original base and it also was in black opaque glass. Here you are buying a wonderful Art Deco Austrian bottle and a magnificant Hoffman stopper with dauber. They look great together but originally not meant for one another. The perfume measures 6" tall and believed to be made in the 1920's.

| Item SL498: Beautiful vintage Czech figural nude decorated stopper with original bottle--see North’s reference, plate 819. This is a bottle that North compares to the inferior copies made in Japan. The stopper is elegant--beautifully cut and frosted. There is a tiny pinpoint ding in one upper corner--on both sides. They are extremely shallow and very tiny--they could easily be polished or left as they are because the size is so insignificant. The dauber is not present. The bottle is of fine crystal with a lovely shape. The cut design fills front, back and sides of the bottle. The base contains the oval acid mark, "Made in Czechoslovakia." 5 ½". Valued at $350 in the reference, this is certainly a very good buy.

| Item SL499: Dazzling vintage Czech pink cornucopia figural bottle with matching star cut stopper. Pretty and pink--round acid marked "Made in Czechoslovakia", excellent condition bottle. Star shaped and zipper cut designs cover the bottle which has a clear polished base which is slanted in form. The clear crystal stopper has the same star cut design on the border, with a large central star. Both the bottle and stopper have no damage or restoration. The dauber is still present. A classic designed figural bottle with scrumptious detail. 6 ½" long; 3 ¼" high.

| Item SL500: Extremely rare antique Czech perfume bottle with double cut figures (one figure cut on each side)--a gentleman in exquisite 18th Century dress, with a cane, dancing with a lady in a beautiful ball gown. The cutting is exquisite--the detail spectacular on each side. It is shown in North’s reference, plate 405. It is shown with an identical bottle, except this is violet and in the reference, pink. The stopper is without flaw except for the missing dauber. The double intaglio cut figural stoppers are extraordinarily rare and highly sought after, most especially in this condition. This particular stopper is certainly highly desirable because of the motif and exquisite detail (forgive the photos--it was difficult to photograph). The bottle is violet--a rare color. It has a beautiful tiered cut design, with six rounded polished feet. It bears a clear oval acid "Made in Czechoslovakia" mark. It is nearly perfect--pinpoint nicks are present in 8 places that I can find/feel. They are so miniscule you will have to search for them. This is a rare opportunity to add an extremely rare, beautiful bottle to your collection.

| Item SL501: A big beautiful Czech perfume bottle, shown in North’s reference, Plate 222. Note that this stopper is much more intricate in the large border design than the one shown in the reference. This is likely a much earlier bottle because of the workmanship required to create the gorgeous detail on the stopper. The base is a golden yellow color (just as shown in the reference) and has eight projections on the base. There is very fine cutting on the diamond shaped projections on the upper third of the bottle. Even the rim of the opening has an exquisite design. It is acid marked lightly "Made in Czecho-Slovakia" on the base. I can find no chips, although there are a very few pinpoint nicks along the base. When I say pinpoint, that is how tiny they are. The only issue with the bottle is that it is lightly clouded, mostly inside on the base. It is not apparent unless one is looking through the glass with a light behind it. I’ve cleaned it only with a mild detergent. Something "stronger" could well clean it up to perfect clarity, but I’ve left it alone because it is beautiful as it is. The stopper is very large. The scene shows a young man in classical dress playing the pan pipes under a tree. Three maidens are shown dancing in front of him. There is excellent detail on the figures and scene, but this does not show well in the photos. The tiny cutting to match that on the bottle’s diamond shapes is replicated on the top of the stopper. The sides and base of the stopper are nicely decorated, as well. Size: 6" high; stopper 3 ¾ x 3 ¾".

| Item SL465: Exceptional Art Deco bathing beauty statue--of green satin glass, 7.75 in. This is only marked in block letters on the underside of the base, "Registered 740772 Foreign." When I purchased this from an Art Deco antique dealer he told me the name of the artist, where manufactured and the date. I wrote the information down and, of course, I misplaced it. What I do remember is that it is French and circa 1930. The detail of milady is exceptional and her pose, complete with her long towel and only wearing her bathing slippers, is fanciful. While the detail of her face is not clearly seen in the photos (sorry), she has a very short flapper hair style and the molding on her face is very fine.

| Item SL464: Large Czech (8 ¾") PINK perfume bottle, with elegant tall flower basket designed stopper. The bottle is designed with multiple star shapes and finely cut "zipper" lines on the corners and base. It has 2 (wow) oval shaped acid marks "Made in Czechoslovakia" and a perfect Morlee round silver foil label. The stopper ( without its dauber) has an extremely elegant design. A straw basket, complete with a ribbon at the top, is filled with bunches of flowers which fill the basket and spill over the sides. Aside from one pin point nick on the edge of the stopper, I can find no damage. The fit of the stopper for the bottle is perfect, although I have seen the stopper once before with another base.

| Item SL473: A very pretty 6" Czech bottle with its stopper having a trellis and floral design. Acid marked on one of the four feet "Made in Czecho Slovakia." Very sweet bottle with a variety of cut designs and having four perfect feet. The stopper is without any damage, except for a broken stopper. There is a trellis design along the edges. The flowers and foliage are extremely well defined and very realistic in appearance.

| Item SL471: Another superb early Czech perfume bottle and powder jar--from the same Georgia estate as the set described above (with the Victorian basket). The bottle and matching powder jar have identical shapes. Round with vertical sides, the design is incredibly detailed. The bottle has V shaped vertical ribs separated by extremely finely engraved frosted stylized flowers. There are 6 panels of flowers separated by the vertical cut panels around the bottle. The base has a polished pontil which is numbered to match the stopper. The base is clearly acid marked on two lines "CZECHO-SLOVAKIA." The stopper is fan shaped with the same elegant design. When in the sun light, the rays just dance from this bottle. Both the bottle and stopper are without any damage that I could fine. Even the dauber is present (also perfect). The POWDER JAR has the identical design as the perfume bottle--12 panels, 6 with stylized flowers, 6 with vertical V shaped panels. The lid has a clear center which has a border of 10 "flowers." It has a beautiful very large polished pontil. It is acid marked, as is the bottle, on the base. The only flaw I can find is an extremely tiny superficial chip on the rim of the lid of the powder jar--I just discovered it tonight with my finger, not with my eye. Size: Perfume, 6 x 3 3/8"; Powder Jar,
3 ½ x 1 ¾". Sold only as a set.

| Item SL467: One of the most elegant bottles from my collection, with a powder jar to match. This is a very heavy bottle, has a polished pontil (rare). The pontil and the dowel of the stopper are numbered identically. The design is that of a frosted and clear tall Victorian basket, filled with large flowers surrounded by ferns galore--cascading from the basket. The design is repeated on both the front and back of the bottle and on the stopper. There is an acid mark on the base reading "CZECHO SLOVAKIA." The bottle is in wonderful condition. With the great number of triangular points--not one is damaged. The dauber is missing, but the beautiful polished dowel is really the best I’ve ever seen. This is an early bottle--the workmanship is simply superb. And…it has a matching powder box which is also superb. 5 x 4 x 1 ¼".
$275 for the bottle; or with the powder box, the set is $395.

| Item SL466: Matching exceptionally fine Czech powder jar. Again--simply amazing that all of the points are without damage. There are 3 flecks (pinpoint dots) on the V shaped design on the base of the jar. The lid replicates the design of the perfume bottle. The motif--a tall Victorian basket, filled with flowers, surrounded by foliage--mostly ferns. The ferns and flowers spill over the edges of the basket. The detail is exquisite. The jar, again, is of a very heavy fine crystal. The base has a polished pontil (rare) indicating it is an early Czech bottle. It is unmarked--often only one piece in a set was marked, especially in the early years of production. This is a generous size to really display the design: lid, 5" diameter; height 2 ½".
$175 for the powder box; or, with the perfume bottle, the set is $395.

| Item SL470: Exquisite rare figural inkwell footed perfume bottle. Round acid mark on base and a fine label "TRADEMARK SILVER LEAF Made in Czechoslovakia" (a very hard to find label). There are four large panels with extraordinary detail--scrolls, leaf, star design). Each corner has a design of three vertical frosted intersecting leaves. Each foot is curved and beautifully designed and nary a nick. The stopper has always reminded me of a butterfly, but it is really a highly stylized flower. It is without damage except for the missing dauber. The bottle is in excellent condition with no flaws (except for the dauber) and no restoration. 6 1/8".

| Item RG657: Beautiful Lapis blue Czech bottle that was bought many years ago when I first starting collecting. It stands over 7 inches tall with its spectacular stopper standing 5 inches high. The stopper is crisply engraved with a floral design. The back of the stopper is left plain. A lovely bottle to display. To purchase or ask questions, contact seller Rona Drewell | ||
| Item SL462: Extremely rare Czech perfume bottle with Art Deco lady on the front of the bottle, molded in relief. Everything is perfect, even the excellent long dauber. There are 3 similar bottles shown in North’s reference, #104, 105 and 106 on p. 31. They depict a Sunbonnet lady, a dancing flapper and Little Bo Peep. This bottle depicts an elegant lady, with long flowing hair, dressed in a filmy dressed, slippers and holding a scarf over her shoulders. The detail is very crisp, the design elegant. The bottle is undecorated on the back. The sides and base have raised designs--I can send photos, if you wish. The stopper is perfect and fits like a glove and the color matches the bottle perfectly. I know it is original to the bottle because of the source I purchased it from many years ago. The frosted roses and foliage complement milady. The original dauber, annealed to the tiny wafer base at the end of the dowel, completes this presentation in perfect order. There are no chips, flaws or restoration. The bottle is unmarked--I believe these bottles had paper labels. I saw the Little Bo Peep bottle some time ago and it was also unmarked. Ht: 6". The bottles in North are valued at $450. This is, in my opinion, a much more beautiful bottle, but I am listing it for significantly less.

| Item SL461: Czech unmarked elegant violet, with heavy gold decoration, perfume flacon. This is truly a work of art. The bottle is obviously made of fine lead crystal--its weight and clarity attest to this. The color--that light violet color which is so difficult to find. Art deco--yes! Of geometric shape for both the bottle and stopper. The gold--very heavy applied gold swirls with light gold tracery in the form of stars and lines. A very interesting and a very beautiful bottle. It commands attention because of the color, decoration AND size. It measures: 7 1/8 x 3 ½" wide. There is no damage, flaw or restoration. You will be very pleased to add this to your collection as a focal point or as a single decorative piece.

| Item SL438: Classic antique Czech perfume bottle by Hoffman. Geometric clear crystal base (unmarked as usual). Marked with butterfly under horizontal line on stopper in the center. Stopper is beautifully etched and frosted with incredible detail (the photos do not do this justice). A classical maiden is depicted holding a scarf over her head. A winged cupid is seated playing a hand percussion triangle with a striker. The boy Pan is shown playing the panflute. There is no damage or restoration except for a portion of the dauber is missing. A lovely bottle and a must have for the collector of fine Hoffman bottles. Size: 4 x 3.5".

| Item SL433: Stunning figural Czech perfume bottle with a stopper featuring a genteel Southern lady holding a large brimmed bonnet. The bottle is scrumptious, is beautifully cut and without damage. It is clearly acid marked "Made in Czechoslovakia" on the base. The stopper is also beautifully finished and the lady--simply elegant. There is a tiny area which is clear on the frosted dress, likely from handling--certainly, not damaged. The stopper is without damage except for a missing dauber. There is still a tiny portion of the dauber present. Height: 7.5".

| Item LG5: Extremely rare Czech clear and frosted crystal bottle and stopper with dauber intact. The design is two nudes encircling an urn. The bottle is molded as a bouquet of flowers. The frame is gilded metal with an elaborate filigree design. Central green stone designed as a rose. The metal work is all original and retains its rich gold luster. There is a small loop of metal at the bottom on the left side missing. There are no restorations on the bottle. There is a roughness on the back under the feet of the left nude that extends 3/4 of an inch. There is a chip on the inside throat, not rim, of the opening. The stopper is perfect with dauber intact. The bottle is unmarked (typical) with wear as detailed above. It is listed in Czechoslovakian Perfume Bottles and Boudoir Accessories by Jacqueline Y. Jones-North, copyright 1990 by Antique Publications. It is #590. The ormolu is compressed in the Czech style and the jewelry is authentic. The antique perfume dealer from whom I originally purchased this item said although today's technology can reproduce the bottle, the intact, one piece dauber cannot be reproduced. The height is 6". Click here for beautiful closeup of the stopper.

The "skirt" of the bottle is 4 1/2" wide, the stopper 3 3/4" at the widest point. The bottle is 4 1/2" without the stopper, the dauber is actually 2 3/4" long, from where it sits is the bottle to the very tip! The bottle is the same on both sides; the stopper is flat on one side, but you can still see the outline of the woman, and other details. With the exception of a few small scratches on the bottom of the bottle where it sat on someone`s dresser (actually wear marks which you can`t see unless it is upside-down!), the bottle is in excellent condition. | Item SL358: Czech figural perfume bottle in first size: “TRIOMPHE”. The frosted and clear architecture portion replicates the Arc de Triomphe. The stopper is a vibrant red with an etched name of the scent. It is easily removed and has no damage. There is a silver foil marked neck label (scarce). Now to the sad part. The bottle was perfect until I began to clean the sticky dried perfume off the rim. To my surprise, a piece of the rim immediately fell out. However, since it is rare & displays beautifully, it is still a little treasure. Ht: 2.8 in. To purchase or ask questions, contact seller Sandy Lemelin
| Item BCCZ84: Rare clear crystal bottle and stopper (5") The stopper is

front with the Hoffman butterfly. To purchase or ask questions, contact seller Brenda Cohen | SOLD
| Item SL308: Rich amber Czech perfume flacon with exceptionally detailed stopper. This bottle is very geometric in design. The stopper also has a somewhat unusual hexagon shaped stopper. The design is that of Psyche and Cupid. She is seated on a rock, with a drape over her legs, holding high Cupid’s archer’s bow. Large star shaped flowers surround her. Cupid, of course, is a pudgy little guy and is demanding his archer’s bow be returned by Psyche. He is finely detailed, as is the entire stopper. The dauber is missing, however, the wafer base to which is was attached at the end of the stopper is still present. This is seen with the early Czech bottles. I have looked and looked to find a mark, but there isn’t one present. There was likely a paper label at one time. No damage except reported and no restoration. Ht: 5 in. To purchase or ask questions, contact seller Sandy Lemelin | SOLD | |
| Item SL276: Rare pink star shaped Czech miniature perfume bottle. Such a little beauty and one of my very favorites. The bottle reminds me of a pretty pink star. It has so many facets it just sparkles--pink sparkles! It has a polished base and is marked with the oval acid mark. The stopper is also exquisite and is perfect except for its missing dauber. It’s a bit of a miracle those points on each side of the bottle didn’t receive at least a small ding over the years, but I can’t find any damage on the bottle except for some pinpoint nicks at the neck of the bottle. Ht: 2 1/2 inches. To purchase or ask questions, contact seller Sandy Lemelin | SOLD | |
