RG680: This is a most impressive piece of glass. It is extremely heavy, standing over 6 inches high with a hallmarked silver collar about 1 inch wide. The part of the stopper that fits inside the bottle is all glass. The pattern on both bottle & stopper is a real "eye-opener" I have examined it very carefully & can no defects whatsoever. This is a very special bottle & would enhance any dressing table or display cabinet.

SL494: Moser cranberry perfume flacon with perfect enamel design that nearly covers the entire surface of the bottle and stopper. The photo shows the quality of the bottle, but I do have more with photos of other sides of the bottle which has a total of 8 objects. There are 4 moths or butterflies and 4 flowers, each colorful and perfect. The rest of the bottle is covered with vines holding heart shaped leaves and elegant gold scrolls. The condition of the cranberry bottle and enamel is in a word "PERFECT." The baluster shaped stopper fits perfectly and has tiny designs of the same larger insects and flowers found on the bottle. The surprise is that the stopper is a vibrant shade of blue. I questioned this when I purchased it (one of my first) years ago. The antique dealer, who had an unquestionable reputation, guaranteed it was all original, pointing out the replicated design on bottle & stopper and the fit of the stopper. The condition of the stopper is likewise without any flaw. This is certainly Bohemian and likely Moser because of the intricacy of design. Height: 5 in.

SL460: Mid 19th Century German Crystal/Continental Silver Scent Bottle. This is quite the beauty, very scarce and in excellent condition (no flaws, damage or restoration). The crystal has a beautifully frosted etched design of plumes and other decorative subjects of that era. The 10%0 marked silver (with hallmarks I'm unfamiliar) is annealed to the glass. The base (front and back) has a classical garden scene with a cavalier and his lady. The ends of the bottle have two cavaliers--one playing a mandolin. The silver "collar" shows the couple holding hands, in a romantic scene. The stopper is all silver--the motif being a sweet cherub in superb detail. The silver work is in excellent condition with no missing portions. The glass--no flaws, damage, etc. This is very typical of the German designs of the time and the type of bottle that is extremely scarce today. A great addition for your collection.

AC17: This beautiful and delicate perfume bottle has a twist cap that has a high amount of detail work. Although I can't find a sterling mark, I am certain it is sterling silver as it tarnishes as such. The ornate details of the top shows beautifully. It stands 2 ¾ inches tall, ¾ inch wide, ½ inch deep, and just a trace of the original perfume remains. Inside there is a glass bottle with "Made in France" written at the bottom. It has some residue of original perfume. It is in a beautiful condition except a very minor crack line at the opening of the glass that hides under the cap. SL356: Heisey scent bottle with etched floral design & pink guilloche enamel/sterling stopper. This is a marked (“H” in diamond on base) Heisey scent bottle. It has a scrumptious design of finely etched large flowers, vines, circlesand vertical panels that cover the surface. The wafer base has a series of frosted circles close to the edge. The stopper is gorgeous--an engine turned sterling marked lid with transparent pink glass like enamel (guilloche enamel). The enamel is in perfect condition. The silver is marked “sterling” and also has the hallmark. The only flaw I can find is a pinpoint polished nick on the outside rim of the bottle's neck rim. It is tiny and does not distract. A gorgeous piece. I have a photo of the nick. If you would like to see the photo, please e-mail me. Price adjusted for the flaw.

| Item HBL1: CRYSTAL VINTAGE ART DECO INKWELL PERFUME BOTTLE. This exceptionally beautiful clear crystal diamond shape ink well perfume bottle is almost beyond description. It took many photographs to manage to get this one as the high reflectivity of this amazing crystal made it very difficult to photograph. The height from base of the bottle to the tip of the quill finial is almost 9", (23 cm) the longest width at the base is 4.5", (11.5 cm) short width 2.7" (7 cm) and height from base to neck is 3.2 " (8.3 cm). The quill finial is the thickest piece of crystal I have ever come across and is .7" (2.1 cm) thick at the base of the feather where it joins the stopper. There is a barely discernible, tiny, air bubble fleck about one inch above the bottom of the quill, approximately where the central tendon of the feather would be. This would not be seen if the crystal was not so amazingly clear. I mention it solely for complete accuracy. The total height of the finial, with its hand ground stopper is an amazing 6.5" (16.6 cm). The bottle is four-sided in a diamond shape. This lovely bottle is in excellent condition with no chips or flea bites anywhere. There are no manufacturers marks of any kind. This extraordinary crystal piece weighs almost a pound and a quarter and has created gasps of admiration from visitors to my collection. To purchase or ask questions, contact seller Heather |
