 Item EF241: Gorgeous Red & Black PRINCESS PAT Bakelite Compact, W/ lipstick, powder and rouge. The
powder is in small tin container inside bakelite holder, with Princess Pat on the lid. Rouge is gone, but lipstick is almost full. I went through all 5 of my books, and there isn't an illustration of this presentation in any of them. I think it's pretty RARE!! No damage except a few usual wear scuff marks, and a tiny crack on one corner. This is old, I'm pretty sure it's 1920's, or earlier. Compact measures 3-1/2" long, & 2-1/2" wide. Item ED219: VOLUPTE LOOSE POWDER HAND COMPACT - This is a really unique rare compact by the company Volupte in the shape of a hand with brushed finish in goldtone called "Golden Gesture" , the case with a faux gemstone "engagement" ring. Item STEL280: MINT 1930s DECO COMPACT Enameled Deer. This is a wonderful find for the serious compact collector. Beautiful Deco compact with enamelling of 2 deer in the woods. Great colors! Open it to reveal an unused puff, screen, plastic white ring and paper that says to be used for loose or cake powder. Mirror is perfect. There are no dents or chipping of the enamel. There is a slight uneveness of color on the bottom due to the fact that sticky price tags were used. No marking of maker. Measures 2 5/8 in. in diameter. What a fab find!

Item STEL246: Lin~Bren 5th Ave. MIB Celluloid Compact 1930s. Here is one of the most lovely compacts I have seen in a long time. It is in fantastic condition with original box. Never Used!! It is black celluloid with a strip of creamy yellow as the hinge. There is a floral transfer (PERFECT) on the front with matching rhinestones (ALL THERE). It measures 3 in. This is the one unusual thing about this piece...there is no mirror and never was. It is possible that it is a cigarette case, although the box says compact and it is the original box (fit is perfectly). It is so pretty and would be an asset to any collection!

Item STEL1139: Rare Figural Enameled XL POCKET WATCH COMPACT. This is a real find....Marked made in Italy Patent 24274. Since it was made in Italy, I am guessing that the patent number is related to Italian numbers...but I am not sure of this. The front of the compact resembles a gorgeous pocket watch with an enameled face, gold hands and a blue stone in the center. It looks so realistic! The glass or plastic casing over the watch face is in excellent condition with no scratches. Open it up and find the original sifter and pink swan's down puff. The mirror shows some slight discoloration. There is minor wear in the form of surface scratching on the edges and on the the back, but nothing that detracts from the unique beauty of this compact. I have not polished it or cleaned it...I leave that for the new owner to do or not. To open, you push down on the top wind stem. This one measures 2 7/8 in. in diameter. Don't miss out on this one, if you collect unusual figural compacts.

Item STEL1265: 1950's Soda Fountain Compact. Here is a wonderful vintage 1950's compact. It is has an enameled front. The graphics are wonderful. The only flaw is a very faint small smudge? on the boy's face. Otherwise it is in excellent condition. Mirror is clear. Sifter and paper are present. There is no puff. Item BF2: Prince Matchabelli compacts are very hard to find, this turquoise enamel is the only one I have seen anywhere. It is the same size at my offering that is in black, it is 2 ¾ X 2 ¾ inches by 3/8 inches deep and does not have the Prince Matchabelli puff inside. This one is used and does show some wear, a scratch on the left and a small dot of enamel missing just to the upper left of the raised crown. The framed mirror is intact, functional interior powder well clasp as well as exterior clasp. This is a true scan of the item, not a retouched digital photo. The price for this piece is the same as the black due to its rarity. Price is $45.00 plus shipping.

Item BF1: Very hard to find Prince Matchabelli black enamel compact with raised gold metal crown, gold trim. The compact is 2 ¾ X 2 ¾ inches by 3/8 inches deep.
Used but in good condition for its age, framed mirror intact, functional interior powder well clasp as well as exterior clasp, Prince Matchabelli powder puff also inside. No enamel missing but some normal surface wear.

Item SL309: Figural John Woodbury “Dream Stuff” powder compact. This is a very unique piece, not often found. The lid is a celluloid type of material--very light weight. It shows a profile of a woman’s head, stars, moon beams and delicate letters “Woodbury DREAM STUFF.” The blue base is of a similar material. It has its factory fresh powder cake and cellophane cover with advertising. The original puff in excellent condition is present. In excellent condition, the only miniscule flaw being the most tiny sliver of the white material scuffed on the rim which meets the base. 2 1/2 in x 1/2 in. I believe this dates to the 40’s.
