This is a "splash bottle", made in France & contains 200 mls of this wonderful fragrance. The bottle is most impressive, very heavy glass with a silver stopper. The box shows some wear but gives lots of information on the very old firm of D'Orsay.

new1.gif - 1044 Bytes Item JH5: Toujours Moi by Corday with it's original white satin lined box. Beautiful vintage bottle with red patina which emphasizes the beautiful molded designs on both the glass stopper and the body of the bottle. It is hard to see the patina on the bottle itself because of the perfume inside. This particular bottle would display better with no perfume. The bottle measures 3 inches tall and has acid etched on the bottom "Corday Bottle Made in France" and also has a circle label on the back that says "1/2 oz." The label on the front is a very shiny gold foil still in excellent condition. Toujours Moi was first introduced in 1923 but was very popular for years after that. Judging by the style of the lable on this bottle, I'm guessing this one came from the 1930's or 40's. Wonderful condition! No chips or cracks.

new1.gif - 1044 Bytes Item ED4: "TreVere" by W.T. Rawleigh Company of Freeport, Illinois, circa 1921. It has a cork surrounding the post of the stopper. The cork has shrunk due to drying out, so it is loose in the neck of the bottle, but I purchased this from a very reputable antique dealer about 25 years ago and she assured me that it was indeed the original stopper, and that the bottle had come from her family. The stopper itself is frosted and has a decidedly "deco" appearance. The embossed foil label is beautiful and in excellent condition. It reads, "TreVere, Rawleigh, Freeport" and has a beautiful little flower above the initial "R" at the bottom of the label. The bottle is about 4-1/2" tall and there is no embossing on the bottom of the glass, although there are some bubbles in the glass itself. This is another of my favorites. I just love the label!

Item RG321: Pauline Trigere: Here are three items I am selling together all made by the very popular Pauline Trigere. The first is a very pretty bottle for the pure perfume (1.3" x 1.3") It probably held about 1/4 oz. but there is some missing. The second item is a large glass jar that once held 3 ounces of powder but there is very little left. The last item consists a very delicate looking gold coloured atomizer 2 - 1/2" tall oz. 1 inch wide, with the name "Trigere" inscribed on the atomizer, a white plastic funnel & a bottle of perfume to use as a refill. These three items come in a pale green box which shows signs of wear at the corners. On the box is written "Trigere Jet Set" Refillable Purse Atomizer, 1/4 fl. Oz perfume & funnel.

Item RG445: "Tuscia" Parfums Bouis "Vallauris" This is a bit of a mystery bottle for even though there is lots of info on the label I can't find any record of this very attractive bottle in any of my perfume books. It is made in France. It stands 4 inches tall & 2 1/2 inches wide with a very clean label & an interesting frosted stopper. The stopper is engraved with what could possibly be a coat of arms. It is about half full of perfume which smells a little strong. A lovely rare bottle.

Item RG537: Unknown scent. This is a lovely bottle with the stopper in the shape of a large frosted blue flower.   Item RG1126:  Unknown mystery bottle.   A beautifully made perfume bottle with no sign of a label either on the nice box or anywhere on the bottle. It even comes with an outer protective box but that too shows no indication of what it is or where this bottle originated .  It has never been opened & has about half of the original perfume remaining. The stopper is particularily attractive in a semi opaque style. Maybe someone out there will recognize it.  I just know it is a well made stylish bottle.  Just over 3  1/2 tall.

Stands app. 4 1/2 inches & contained 1 ounce of parfum.  There is minor loss of perfume but otherwise this bottle looks perfect.

Item RG532: Vent Vert by Pierre Balmain. This very pretty factice stands over 6 inches high & holds 100 ml. of solution. This is a factice & therefore contains no perfume. It has a green polka tie around the neck of the bottle with a pretty stopper but I don't think it is a glass stopper. The green box is in excellent condition as is the bottle. Would make a very attractive display bottle.

Item CC1: Vera Violetta by Roger & Gallet. A truly stunning silver satin coffret for their classic fragrance Vera Violetta dating to 1900. From the sumptuously pillowed lid with its gilt banding, to the contents nestled in ivory silk, this presentation, measuring 9 inches square, is in beautiful condition. The bottle lying at the right in the coffret is full, sealed with a ribbon and has an excellent label. The bottle at the left has been opened and is missing the ribbon but still has the majority of the perfume and another lovely label. The Poudre de Riz (colour Rachel) is still sealed inside its box and the soap at the front of the coffret is still completely wrapped but faded where the sides of the wrapper touch the silk.

The box still has its little key although I have never dared to lock the coffret! Both perfume bottles have tiny labels on their sides announcing that this presentation is from the Paris Exhibition of 1900. They are also stamped A1 which suggests that they were considered to be of excellent quality. A wonderful addition for a collector of early pieces from one of the most famous of French Houses.
