Samsara, the symbol of Eternal Life, Spiritual Renewal and hope for the future - a Sanskrit word for the transmigration of souls, eternal rebirth and the never-ending turning of the wheel of life.This is approximately 3" high to the top of the stopper and 3.25" wide. It is a stunningly beautiful bottle filled to the brim with the exquisite pure perfume we know as Samsara. This glorious burgundy red hard plastic presentation box, complete with the outer red cardboard box of Samsara in its red bottle is very hard to find these days. Apparently red is one of the most difficult and costly colours to make. It was created by Jean Paul Guerlain in 1988 and is referenced on page 280 of Guerlain Perfume bottles since 1828 by Michele Atlas and Alain Monniot. A vintage new 1 oz flacon full to the brim of pure perfume, a sultry luxury of an aroma too sensuous to resist. A small touch of this surrounds you with this glorious perfume for many hours. | Item ED120: Schiap de Schiaparelli - This is a nice bottle by Schiaparelli for the uncommon fragrance "Schiap de Schiaparelli". It has it's "S" style label with the fragrance name but in blue and white instead of the usual Pink and white. The box is dark blue with a label in good condition. Item SL523: Sevres by Sauze. Perfect as the day it came from the factory. Back label in French. Base label reads "Made in France." The ivory golf ball shaped top is unique, as is the shape of the bottle. It has an oval shape with scallops on both sides of the bottle. The label is quite elegant. With original contents. Item SL411: Shalimar EDC by Guerlain (ca 1967) in presentation box. This even has its original price tag on the back of the box--$32 which was quite expensive 40 years ago. The bottle is perfect and remains sealed with a cellophane seal and silk ribbon with hang tag under the cellophane at the neck. Original contents--6.7 oz. Approximately 4+ oz. remains. The colorful label is excellent, as is the gold metal cone shaped stopper. The bottle is marked “Made in France.” Ht: 7 ¾”. The classic box is in very fine condition. Item KM83: Shari by Langlois. Wonderful gift set. Contains two perfume bottles with clear glass stoppers, frosted glass dusting powder with gold metal cap, one silk covered face powder box that is unopened, and one rouge container that is full with puff and mirror. Large perfume bottle is 5.1" tall. Smaller bottle is 3.5" tall. Large bottle is slightly over half full and smaller bottle is about one-fourth full. Both are sealed with cording so evaporation has occurred. Labels are very good on all three bottles. Powder bottle is 6" tall. Everything in this set (including box and glass stoppers) is of octagonal shape except for the rouge compact. Silk covered presentation box is in very good condition. There is one small stain on the silk lining under the large perfume bottle. Gorgeous motif with flowering oriental tree and butterflies on box (inside lid), labels, powder box and rouge compact. | Item RG522: "Sirocco" by Lucien Lelong. This is a lovely classic bottle containing 2 oz's of the well loved "Sirocco" perfume first issued in 1934. This vintage bottle is perfect with a striking black & gold label . There is a seal around the stopper which is just starting to loosen but there is very little loss of perfume. Around the neck is a black velvet ribbon which lends it that bit of extra pizzazz. It stands 3 - 1/2 " tall & just over 2 inches across. Pretty clear glass stopper. | Item GD69: Sirocco by Lucien Lelong. Charming and interesting presentation created for Lucien Lelong in their novelty category. Label says it holds Sirocco. There is a mini bottle on top and bottom and bells surround the presentation. If you turn the whole presentation upside down there is a partial label on the top of the bottle that says Lucien Lelong. Item RG298: "Sleeping" by Schiaparelli on a two tiered turquoise stand. It stands app. 6 inches tall & is in excellent condition. It has the silver sash around the base of the candle & the gold trim is in fine condition. The original perfume extends to where the candle straightens out. If turned upside down one can see there is not much perfume missing. I don't know if this bottle has ever been opened but the stopper appears to be stuck. Item SL492: A rare little Ahmed Soliman scent bottle, in its wooden case. The case is familiar to us--many of this perfumer’s presentations of standing scent bottles are found in the form of a canopic jar--a burial object in ancient Egypt. The color of the bottle is extremely unusual--it is a light sky blue with swirls of white cloud shaped designs, in cased crystal. The design on the bottle is very familiar--gold tracery on each of its eight sides. The original cork is still in place. There is no stopper which may or may not have been intended, although I believe it did at one time. It would have been "housed" in the hollow top of the case, wrapped in paper. The bottle has the familiar oval shaped mark, surrounded in gold. It reads "Ahmed Soliman Cairo’s Perfume King." The green canopic jar figural case is made of wood. It has been painted and glazed and was made to appear ancient--therefore, more desirable as a souvenir to the 20’s tourists who came to Cairo. The front depicts the Pharaoh and the Pharaoh’s wife in gold and outlined in detail. The name of the perfumer is on the front of the case, in gold faded letters which are still easily read. The lid screws on tightly. There is a bit of wear on the very top of the case but doesn’t really detract, as the case itself was made to appear ancient. Item SL407: “Source Bleue” by Lamballe, sealed perfume flacon in a lovely presentation box. The design for this presentation is stunning. The round disc shaped bottle has a flared base and rays--almost like a sunrise (identical on both sides). The flared crystal stopper has alternating panels of frosted and clear crystal. The label is perfect--an antique gold label with blue writing and a white feathers. The bottle is sealed and retains 2/3 of the original perfume contents. There is a hang tag in antique gold, with a blue outlined feathered plume. 4.8 x 3”. There is no damage to the bottle, labels or box. The box is textured with a diamond geometric design of blue, outlined in a darker blue. The large gold initial “L” in both script and print is centered on the lid of the box. There are gold edges on the hinged box. The base is marked “Source Bleue-- Grand Modele-- Lamballe-- Paris-- Made in France.” The box is 6 x 4 x 2”. | Item RG481: "Spring Flowers" by Creed. Not only is the fragrance wonderful the bottle is as pretty as can be. A beautiful "rose pink" colour topped off with a gold stopper & a matching rose coloured plume on the top of the cap. Around the neck of the bottle is a multi coloured ribbon. The box is in good condition with very minor signs of handling. It holds 75 mls & has never been used.

| Item RG79: "Sublime" Limited Edition by Jean Patou: This is just such a gorgeous perfume bottle, issued in 1991 in France. I have never seen this particular bottle before as they have taken the beautiful "Sublime" bottle & covered it with gold. It comes complete with the original box which is also gold coloured. The bottle contains 50 ml. of Eau De Parfum. I have never opened this bottle so I would think it is full. The bottle stands 3 - 1/2 inches high & is in mint condition. I would grade the box as a 9 out of 10. This is a rare & beautiful bottle.
