Item SL515: High Art Deco DeVilbiss Vanity Set -- Perfume Atomzer, Scent Bottle, Tray & Powder Box. I've always treasured this set. It was purchased at a DeVilbiss auction near Toledo, Ohio years ago. Only DeVilbiss pieces were auctioned, so I have always assumed the set to be DeVilbiss, but I haven't seen a reference for the set, although I haven't pursued the research either. There is no doubt, however, that it has a superb design, is of high quality and is most definitely rare. BOTTLES: Each bottle is of opaque black glass with a disc shape and rectangular shaped base. The front of each bottle has a deeply ethed circular design filled with silver. The hardware is of superior quality. It is chrome and has a cone shaped finial of bakelite which matches the top of the powder box and the tray. The original cord & bulb are present--the bulb still has some elasticity. No damage to either bottle--no restor! ation. Ht: 4 1/4 x 2 3/4". PERFUME TRAY: 3 x 5". The perfume tray is used to seat the bottles. It has a rather complicated design. There is a chrome metal base. Two long strips of black bakelite are mounted on the two long sides of the tray. Two areas (with chrome showing) are shaped to hold the bases of the bottles & have no bakelite present. The remaining portion has the marbeled bakelite that matches the lid of the powder box & finials of the bottles. This design is very deco & works well to hold the bottles in place. Over the years shrinkage has occurred on portions of the bakelite which was tightly applied to the chrome. At one end of each black strip there is a crack. There is also a crack which extends completely through the marbled portion of the bakelite in a small section of the top of the tray. Everything is intact structurally and the appearance is still superb. When the bo! ttles are in place they are not noticeable at all. ! POWDER BOX: The base is black opaque glass with a crystal outer layer. Abstract silver lines circle the powder box. The lid is a beautiful piece of bakelite, complete with a chrome fixture for the acorn shaped finial. No damage, no restoration. 4 1/4 x 1 3/4".

Item SL519: Iridescent 30's perfume atomizer of Czech origin, with hardware "made in France." Not unusual. Often the Czech bottles were sold to various manufacturers (like Devilbiss, for example) and their hardware was applied. The bottle is very pretty with a marigold carnival glass finish. There is a decorative gilded band at the top of the bottle on which enameled flowers & vines are present. The bottle has a continuation of the vines in delicate enamel--very pretty. No chips, or other damage--no restoration. The hardware is a gold tone metal. There is an old cord and net covered bulb present which is likely original. The only issue for the bottle is that there is wear to the surface on the side where the bulb is present. It is not readily apparent because there is still iridescence present, but the color is less intense. Still, this is a beautiful bottle and priced to sell.

Item SL520: Late 19th Century Bohemian perfume atomizer with amazing design and decoration. This has always been a favorite. It is so unusual and so elegant with its rich gilded decoration. The bottle is made in three sections--8 panels around the base and top of the bottle, with a wide decorative band in the middle. The base is sloped, square in shape. A turquoise blue enamel has been perfectly applied--it has a somewhat transparent quality. It is all present and excellent. The wide band in the middle has elegant rich gold as the background. The pattern of flowers, vines, swags and a mythological pegasus, all in black enamel, is superb. There is no wear. The only issue for the bottle is the presence of a tiny chip directly beneath the middle band. It is of little consequence--I do have photos if you would like to see more views of the bottle and also of the chip. The hardware is all original. It ! has the long metal siphon tube present. There is some wear to the gold finish in sections, but not detracting at all from the overall beauty of the bottle. Unmarked. Polished base. 8 3/4".

Item SL526: Turn of the Century Bohemian fine crystal perfume atomizer with pristine enameled scene. Exquisite design--12 panels which narrow at the top. Wide band in the middle has an enameled scene in shades of purple which circle the bottle. I have several photos if you would like to see the total scene. It depicts a young shepherd boy, complete with his pan pipes, in the fields. His faithful herding dog goes ahead of him to guide the sheep toward the castle shaped domicile. Item SL509: Rare DeVilbiss perfume atomizer decorated Cambridge glass. This is truly a beauty and extraordinarily rare. Black opaque Cambridge glass has a superb design. The border adjacent to the top has an extremely detailed etched pattern. The border was then gilded. Vertical tapered gold lines join this pattern to give it that "Wow" effect. The wafer base also has its rim gilded. The hardware is excellent and all original. The netted bulb, of course, has hardened with age. The "Devilbiss" gold script signature is very faint on the base. The large script "D" is easily seen with magnification. There are portions of the remainder of the name (in gold) remaining. Ht: 6 ¾ in. A rare bottle to find in this excellent condition.

Item SL481: French art deco designed atomizer in elegant presentation box. The bottle is a beauty. The clear glass perfume bottle is enameled with the design of striking white flowers with black foliage and red berries. The design circles the body of the atomizer. The wafer base also has a black enamel border near the rim. The fittings are in excellent condition, with the netted portion of the bulb still being present. Size: 8 in. high. The box is fabulous. It is made of very heavy cardboard and covered with a steel blue colored paper with a raised gold design of flowers and foliage. There is very minor wear--tiny scuffs at the corners. It is hinged and is secured with a clasp which is excellent. The interior is so colorful--it is quite the surprise to open the box to find shocking pink satin. The inside of the lid has a wonderful folded design and is perfect. The base is also in very fine condition except for a perfume stain under the portion where the neck of the bottle rests. The stain extends under about half of the length of the bottle. Fortunately this does not show at all when the bottle is in place. A beautiful display piece, it is looking for a new appreciative owner.

Item SL459: BOHEMIAN ART GLASS PERFUME ATOMIZER BY JOSEF RINDSKOPF GLASSWORKS IN KOSLEZ IN TEPLICE CZECHOSLOVAKIA, TURN OF THE CENTURY. I originally purchased the atomizer as a piece of Loetz art glass. Until I began my search for the exact type of glass used by Loetz and found similarities, but no exact match, I had no doubt it was a Loetz. My research, instead, indicated that J. Rindskopf was the designer and manufacturer. There were many competing glass houses during the period that Loetz was producing his finest works, including Rindskopf. The photo HAS NOT BEEN ENHANCED--the colors are true and in good light, you will marvel at both the design and the combination of irridescent colors. Colors include an irr. peacock blue, blue green, varying shades of purple, striking pink-mauve, gold, etc. The design is really unique on each side of the bottle. There are irregular waves of colors. If you would like more photos please contact me. Perfume bottles were very scarce, especially atomizers, so this is certainly a rare piece. The rhodium fittings are original. This is a pump type atomizer and the pump is easily secured and extended . It is able to be used as a plunger, but I prefer to leave well enough alone because of the delicacy of the mechanism after over 100 years. This is the kind of piece that you can literally stare at for hours and never tire of its magnificent design and rainbow of rich colors. There is no damage, no restoration and no factory flaws. Item SL436: Such a lovely bottle--always one of my favorites. This is a very elegant art deco dauber/scent bottle with Daisy floral decoration. Usually came as part of a matching set with an atomizer. The wafer base has perfect gilding. Giant gold daisies decorate the opaque black glass body on all sides. The hardware is perfect and the top of the dauber gilded metal. The top has a raised star shapeddesign. The long glass dauber is present, but has an oopsie (my fault)--the end was chipped off (so much for cleaning). There is an extremely tiny manufacturing flaw on the edge of the wafer shaped base. There is the tiniest indentation on the rim which is smooth and obviously factory finished (not ground) with gold decor. A beautiful art deco bottle and a wonderful addition for a collection. Item SL396: Volupte art deco perfume atomizer with superb design. Red opaque glass bottle with gilded design on textured base. Black accents. All enamel and gold in superb condition. Base with sticker which reads, “Guaranteed 22 Kt Gold plated and decorated.” Original hardware in excellent condition, complete with long glass siphon tube inside. I never noticed a flaw until now. There is a very thin dark line inside a red portion which extends 1 1/8” above the textured gold portion decorating the bottom of the bottle (not the wafer base). This line cannot be felt and it is not in the gold portion. It may be in the making or it may be a hairline in the red glass which has a very thin outer layer of crystal. It is hardly noticeable and can’t be photographed. I have reduced the price to half of what I paid for the bottle to compensate for this flaw. The bottle is dramatic and captures the essence of art deco. Ht: 7 1/8”. dauber, 2/3 original contents.

Item RG491: Beautiful Antique Dresser set consisting of an atomizer (9 inches tall) the cologne bottle (8 inches tall) & the powder bowl 4 1/2'' tall. I was assured when I bought this set many years ago that it was made by Baccarat but there are no marks to indicate this. Each piece is in excellent condition, even the hardware on the atomizer is in super condition, no gold loss to the gold "spritzer" at all. The cologne bottle is trimmed with gold but there is some loss through handling. The glass stopper is numbered. The powder box is also trimmed with gold with minor gold loss here & there. It has the most delicate hand engraving in gold around the bottle which is as clear as the day it was made. On the bottle there is a black label which says "Saint Louis Cristal France 1767". knowledge of this type of bottle is rather limited so maybe one of you
ardent collectors of Vintage bottles will be able to fill in the blanks

Perfume bottle with atomizer. It is very unusual to find Wedgwood in
the terracotta shade & it is especially desirable to find such a
lovely Terracotta perfume bottle. It is a fluted perfume atomiser with 2
white Jasper "dancing hours" figures. It measures approx. 5 inches
tall & 3 inches across at the widest point. It is in mint
condition. Bottom is incised "Wedgwood" Made in England with
the letters R & MJ. It is a beautiful piece of Wedgwood & a

RG-124 Beautiful Victorian blue & white
Jasperware Perfume Atomizer with a classical profile cameo of a lady with
roses in her hair. The design across the top & around the bottom
looks like the crest of waves & seafoam. Original gold finished
metal collar & spray mechanism showing very minor wear to the finish.
The blue netted ball & the siphon tube inside have been replaced.
Measures approximately 6 inches tall & 3 1/4 inches at the widest
